Reporting Inappropriate Behavior
If you encounter inappropriate behavior, content, or violations of our Code of Conduct, please report it to the Masquerading team. We take all reports seriously and review them promptly.
What to Report
You should report any behavior or content that violates our community guidelines, including:
- Harassment or bullying: Threatening, abusive, or offensive behavior
- Hate speech: Racist, discriminatory, or inflammatory content
- Inappropriate content: Explicit, pornographic, obscene, or violent content
- Spam or scams: Unsolicited advertising, fraudulent activity, or deceptive content
- Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else or misrepresenting identity
- Illegal content: Content promoting or inciting crime
- Copyright violations: Unauthorized use of others' intellectual property

How to Report
To report inappropriate behavior or content:
- Prefer the in-app support ticket (open the app, click the cog, then Share Feedback)
- In-app flow: select "Report Inappropriate Behavior" from the Topic dropdown
- In-app flow: complete the details field (there is no separate name/email/subject step in the logged-in ticket flow)
- In the details field, provide detailed information:
- What happened: Describe the violation
- Where: Green Room, DM, The Arena, Event, Dating profile, etc.
- When: Date and approximate time
- Who: Username or character name of the person(s) involved
- Evidence: Mention if you have screenshots (you can attach them if needed)
- Contact fallback: Include an email address in details if you want follow-up outside your account (for example, if account access is later revoked)
- Click "Send Message" to submit your report
- If you cannot access the app, use the Contact Form and select "Report Inappropriate Behavior"
What to Include in Your Report
The more information you provide, the faster we can take action:
- Specific details: Names, locations, dates, times
- Screenshots: If possible, capture evidence of the violation
- Context: Explain the situation and why it's a violation
- Impact: How the behavior affected you or others
What Happens Next
After you submit a report:
- Confirmation: You'll receive a confirmation that your report was submitted
- Review: The Masquerading team will review your report
- Investigation: We'll investigate the incident and gather additional information if needed
- Action: If a violation is confirmed, we'll take appropriate action (warning, suspension, ban, content removal)
- Follow-up: You may receive an update on the outcome, though we cannot share all details due to privacy
All reports are treated confidentially. The person you're reporting will not be told who submitted the report.
Report Response Time
We aim to review all reports within:
- Urgent reports (threats, illegal content, serious harassment): Within 24 hours
- Standard reports (spam, inappropriate content, minor violations): Within 2-3 business days
Anonymous Reporting
Your identity will be kept confidential. The person you're reporting will not know who reported them.
False Reports
Important: Submitting false or malicious reports is a violation of our Terms & Conditions and may result in action against your account. Only report genuine violations.
