What is the Guest Pass?
The Guest Pass is a 7-day free trial that gives you complete access to all Masquerading features. It's designed to let you explore THE Social Fiction Community and see if Masquerading is right for you.
What's Included
During your 7-day Guest Pass, you have full access to:
- Unlimited character creation (manual characters)
- AI Avatar generation (5 per day)
- Green Rooms - Create and join in-character group chats
- Direct Monologue (DM) - Private out-of-character messaging
- Events Map - Discover and RSVP to events worldwide
- Masquerading Dating - In-character dating profiles
- The Arena - News feed and activity
- Character Browser - Browse all public characters
- AI Stage Manager - Platform assistant
How Long Does It Last?
The Guest Pass lasts for 7 days from when you sign up. You'll see a countdown showing how many days remain in your trial.
What Happens After 7 Days?
When your Guest Pass expires, your access automatically changes:
- You keep: Events-only viewing (you can still see events on the map)
- You lose: Full access to Green Rooms, DMs, Dating, character creation, and other premium features
You'll see upgrade prompts as your trial approaches expiration, giving you the opportunity to upgrade to a paid plan.
Upgrading During Your Trial
You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time during your Guest Pass:
- Monthly: £12/month - Full access, billed monthly
- Annual: £69/year - Full access, saves 52% compared to monthly
When you upgrade, your Guest Pass converts to a paid subscription, and you keep all your characters and data.
No Credit Card Required
The Guest Pass is completely free—no credit card required to start your trial. You only need to provide payment information if you decide to upgrade.
