What Happens When Guest Pass Expires?

When your 7-day Guest Pass expires, your access automatically changes. Here's what happens and what you can still do.

Automatic Downgrade

After 7 days, your subscription status changes:

  • From "trial" to "expired"
  • Access level changes automatically
  • No action required from you

What You Keep: Events-Only Viewing

You retain access to:

  • Events Map: You can still view events on the map
  • Event browsing: See what events are happening
  • Event details: Read event information

What You Lose

You lose access to:

  • Green Rooms: Can't create or join
  • Direct Monologue: Can't send or receive DMs
  • Character creation: Can't create new characters
  • Masquerading Dating: Feature unavailable
  • RSVP to events: Can view but not RSVP
  • Full Arena access: Limited viewing

Your Data is Preserved

Don't worry—your data is safe:

  • All your characters are saved
  • Your profile remains intact
  • Your account is preserved
  • Upgrade anytime to restore full access

Upgrade Prompts

You'll see upgrade prompts:

  • When your trial has 3 days or less remaining
  • After your trial expires
  • When trying to access premium features

How to Restore Full Access

There are two ways to get full access back:

Option 1: Subscribe to a paid plan

  1. Click "Upgrade" when prompted
  2. Choose Monthly (£12/month) or Annual (£69/year)
  3. Complete checkout via Stripe
  4. Full access restored immediately

Option 2: Use a promo code

If you have a promo code (for Forever Free access, a discount, or from a creator), you can apply it instead of paying:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Billing & Membership
  2. Find the "Have a promo code?" section
  3. Enter the code and confirm
  4. Full access restored immediately — no payment required for Forever Free codes
