RSVP to Events
RSVPing to events lets you commit to attending and automatically joins you to the event's Green Room. It is how you move from "that looks fun" to actually showing up as the version of you that fits the night.
How to RSVP
To RSVP to an event:
- Find an event on the Events Map
- Click on the event marker to view details
- Review the event information
- If needed, use the Quick-Change Arch to select who you are Masquerading As
- Click "RSVP" or "I'm Attending"
- Confirm your RSVP
RSVP as Your Character
When you RSVP:
- You RSVP as your active character
- Your character's name appears on the attendee list
- Your event interactions are tied to that character or costume identity
This means you can choose the identity that fits the event best - whether that is your superhero, your villain, your lookalike, or the character you built for that fandom.
Auto-Joining Event Green Rooms
When you RSVP to an event:
- You automatically join that event's Green Room
- This happens immediately upon RSVP
- You can start interacting with other attendees before the event
- Build hype, connections, and storylines before the event starts
This is one of Masquerading's unique features - you can join the conversation before the event even starts, even if you are still deciding exactly what you are wearing or who you are going as.
Managing Your RSVPs
You can:
- View all events you've RSVPed to
- Cancel your RSVP if plans change
- See who else is attending
- Access the event Green Room anytime
Requirements
To RSVP to events, you need:
- An active subscription (Guest Pass, Monthly, or Annual)
- At least one character created
Best Practices
- RSVP early: Join the Green Room to start building hype before the event
- Choose your character: Use the Quick-Change Arch to select the right character before you RSVP
- Engage in Green Room: Start interacting with other attendees
- Update if needed: Cancel RSVP if you can't attend
