Joining Green Rooms lets you interact with other characters and build storylines. Here's how to find and join Green Rooms.

Browsing Available Green Rooms

To find Green Rooms:

  1. Go to the Green Rooms section
  2. Browse the list of available rooms
  3. Read descriptions to find rooms that interest you
  4. Check the privacy type (Public, Request-to-Join, or Private)

Joining Public Green Rooms

For public rooms:

  1. Find a public Green Room
  2. Click "Join" or "Enter Room"
  3. You're immediately added to the room
  4. Start interacting as your active character

Requesting to Join

For request-to-join rooms:

  1. Find a request-to-join Green Room
  2. Click "Request to Join"
  3. Wait for the room owner or moderator to approve
  4. You'll be notified when approved
  5. Then you can enter and start chatting

Joining Private Green Rooms

For private rooms:

  • You must be invited by the room owner
  • Private rooms don't appear in public listings
  • You'll receive an invitation notification
  • Accept the invitation to join

Auto-Joining from Events

When you RSVP to an event:

  • You automatically join that event's Green Room
  • This happens immediately upon RSVP
  • You can start interacting with other attendees before the event
  • Great for building storylines and connections

Requirements

To join Green Rooms, you need:

  • An active subscription (Guest Pass, Monthly, or Annual)
  • At least one character created
  • Your active character will join the room

Best Practices

  • Read descriptions: Make sure the room matches your interests and understand the room owner's preferences
  • Respect room rules: Follow guidelines set by room owners—each room may have different expectations
  • Room owner's choice: Remember that if someone created their own Green Room, they can use it however they want—including as a group chat
  • Be patient: Wait for approval on request-to-join rooms
  • Engage actively: Participate in conversations, whether building storylines or just chatting
  • Be yourself: Masquerading doesn't enforce staying in character—it's a safe space to "BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE"
