Events Map: Finding Events Worldwide

The Events Map lets you discover events happening all over the world. Filter by date, distance, and type to find places where you can be Masquerading - whether that means cosplay, LARP, lookalikes, tribute nights, themed screenings, or a full fancy-dress weekend.

Using the Map Interface

The Events Map uses Google Maps integration to show events:

Interactive map: Zoom, pan, and explore events worldwide
Event markers: Click markers to see event details
Location-based: See events near you or anywhere in the world

Filtering Events

You can filter events by:

Date

Upcoming events
Specific date ranges
This week, this month, etc.

Distance

Events within a certain radius
Based on your current location
Or search from any location

Type

Cosplay events
LARP events
Conventions and fandom meetups
Tribute nights and themed club events
Themed cinema or theatre screenings
80s weekends, decade parties, and other costume-friendly events
Masquerading-hosted events

Viewing Event Details

Click on an event marker to see:

Event name and description
Date and time
Location details
Event type
RSVP information
Attendee count

Requirements

To use the Events Map:

You need an account (any subscription level)
Location permissions may be requested for distance filtering
To RSVP, you need an active subscription (Guest Pass, Monthly, or Annual)

Best Practices

Use filters: Narrow down events to find what interests you
Check details: Read event descriptions before RSVPing
Plan ahead: RSVP early to join event Green Rooms and pre-event chat
Explore globally: Don't limit yourself to local events
Think beyond conventions: Some of the best fits may be tribute nights, screenings, or themed weekends
