When attending events on Masquerading, follow these etiquette guidelines for a positive experience.

RSVP as Your Character

When RSVPing:

RSVP as the character you'll attend as
You can RSVP as different characters to the same event
All event interactions are in-character

Event Green Rooms

When you RSVP, you auto-join the event Green Room:

Start building storylines before the event
Interact with other attendees—many enjoy in-character interactions, but it's not required
Respect the event's theme and atmosphere
Remember: Masquerading doesn't enforce staying in character—it's a safe space to "BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE"

Respecting Organizers

Show respect to event organizers:

Follow event guidelines
Respect event rules
Be considerate of organizers' efforts

In-Person Events

For Masquerading-hosted in-person events:

Arrive on time
Come in costume/character
Respect venue rules
Have fun and be yourself—whether in-character or out-of-character!
