Green Room Settings

If you're the owner of a Green Room, you have access to settings that let you customize and manage your room.

Accessing Green Room Settings

To access settings for a Green Room you own:

1. Open your Green Room
2. Look for the cog icon (⚙️) next to the room name
3. Click the cog icon to open the settings menu

What Room Owners Can Control

As a Green Room owner, you can:

1. Change Room Name

Update the name of your Green Room to better reflect its purpose or theme.

2. Edit Room Description

Modify the description to provide context, rules, or information about what the room is for.

3. Adjust Privacy Level

Change the room's privacy setting between:

• Public: Anyone can join freely
• Request-to-Join: Users must request access, and you can approve or deny
• Private: Invite-only, not visible to others

4. Invite Moderators

You can invite other members to become moderators of your Green Room. Moderators can help manage the room and its members.

5. Delete the Room

Only room owners can delete a Green Room. This action is permanent and removes all room content and membership.

Push Notifications

Push notifications for Green Rooms are available on supported browsers/devices. You can manage notification preferences from Account Settings.

Best Practices

• Keep descriptions updated: Make sure your room description reflects its current purpose
• Choose the right privacy level: Match privacy settings to your room's goals
• Appoint trusted moderators: Choose active, responsible members to help manage your room
• Be careful with deletion: Deleting a room is permanent—there's no undo
