What is Masquerading?

THE Social Fiction Community — where you create Masquerading characters, perform in character, join Green Rooms, discover events, and connect with people who share your love of costume culture.

How much does it cost?

Start with a 90-day Access All Areas Pass absolutely free — no credit card required. Full platform access for 90 days, including 14 days of Masquerading Dating. After day 14, Dating requires a paid membership. After 90 days, upgrade to keep full access or move to In the Audience (events-only viewing). Paid plans: Monthly (£12/month) or Annual (£69/year, save 52%).

Can I create multiple characters?

Unlimited Masquerading characters. Switch between them instantly from your Dressing Room. Every character is public — the community meets every version of you.

Do I need a physical costume?

No. Describe your look to the AI avatar engine and watch your Masquerading character come to life — or upload your own photos. Every Masquerading character gets its own lanyard.

How does Masquerading Dating work on the trial?

Your first 14 days include full Dating access. After day 14, Dating profiles stay visible but become inactive for new connections until you upgrade. All historical messages are preserved.

Is there a free trial?

How do I use a promo code?

You can apply a promo code in two places: during sign-up (after email verification), or any time later in Account Settings > Billing & Membership.
